Danity Bourbon

Mari Annette writes heart-pounding romantic fantasy and urban fantasy where lethal heroines and complex heroes navigate treacherous loyalties and powerful bonds. Drawing inspiration from gritty military tactical fiction and rich supernatural mythologies, she crafts slow-burn romances steeped in deep emotion and high-stakes intrigue. When she is not orchestrating elemental skirmishes or plotting clandestine operations on the page, Mari enjoys exploring misty mountain trails, collecting vintage fountain pens, and savoring rich roasts of coffee. What Once Was is her latest novel. She loves connecting with fellow book lovers across social media and on her official website.
