Hans Hageman
Hans Hageman is an educator, activist, and organizational leader with more than thirty years of experience working with youth in high-stakes public, private, and correctional environments. Renowned for his innovative approaches to youth development, trauma-informed pedagogy, and character education, he has dedicated his career to empowering marginalized and struggling students to reach their full potential. A Princeton and Columbia University Law School-educated attorney turned pioneering educator, Hageman has received numerous accolades for his community leadership and public service. When he is not writing or consulting with school districts, he enjoys working out, reading history, hanging with his rescue "Pitsky," and mentoring aspiring teachers.
