Julie has one wish: she wants to go to the moon. One night she whispers it to a star. In the morning a golden ticket sits on her dresser. The ticket belongs in a little ship held up by three bright balloons, and when she climbs in, the sky opens. She sails past clouds and stars, past the Milky Way, until one balloon begins to sag. Julie is not ready to turn back. She speaks to it like a friend, and the balloon listens. The moon waits, sparkling and quiet. She walks its silver dust, scoops a pinch to take home, and then follows the same path of balloons back to her own bed. When she sprinkles the moon dust around her lamp and switches on the light, her whole adventure shines on the wall, ready to watch again at bedtime. A gentle picture-book journey of wishing, courage, and the magic you can keep after you land.
