Shakil R. is an aerospace engineer, former military aviation officer, and educator with decades of experience in fighter aircraft design and defence strategy. His debut novel grows out of realism, rigour, and a lifelong commitment to peace. He is a keen observer of international relations and military history, bringing a wealth of research and strategic insight to his writing. His debut novel, The Sentry Directive, reflects his passion for exploring the intersection of human emotion and national duty. Shakil spends much of his time analysing global security trends and enjoys travelling to historical sites that inspire his storytelling. When he isn't at his desk, he can be found engaging in lively debates on regional policy or enjoying a quiet moment with a classic spy novel. He lives with his family, where he is currently working on his next high-stakes thriller.
