Roadmap Público
Tudo o que estamos considerando a seguir, classificado pelos escritores que usam o AIWriteBook. Nada aqui é uma data de entrega — é a ordem em que estamos pensando, de forma aberta.
Professional book formatter — print-ready interior and cover, themes, trim sizes, real typesetting
Da equipeLay your book out the way a publisher would: real typesetting, chapter openers, running heads, and a cover built to the exact trim size you sell at. Pick a theme once and every page follows it. The file you download is the file you hand to the printer.
Researched non-fiction — your book pulls real material and references off the live web while it writes
Da equipeNon-fiction chapters are built on material found on the web right now — real studies, articles, figures and quotes — instead of only what the model happens to remember. Every claim comes back with the source it came from, so you can check it, keep it or swap it. Write about something that changed last month and the book already knows about it.
Organize books into folders, tags, or shelves for series and standalones
All books currently appear in a single grid regardless of whether they belong to a series or are standalones. Adding folders, tags, or shelves would allow grouping books by series and keeping standalones organized separately.
Add a chapter version history to restore earlier drafts and recover lost work
I would like a Google Docs-style version history for each chapter, so that I can switch between previous revisions and avoid losing my content if I make a mistake or an AI generation fails.
A launch's worth of social graphics — quote cards, Story and Pinterest sizes, captions and short-video hooks
Da equipeQuote and teaser graphics are pulled from your actual manuscript in Instagram post, Story, Pinterest and Facebook sizes, each one arriving with the caption that goes with it, plus hooks and shot lists for TikTok and Reels and 3D mockups of the book. A launch needs thirty of these at the very least, and closer to sixty or ninety if you want to rotate them without repeating yourself. They arrive as a batch in a suggested posting order, instead of one graphic a night in Canva.
Support up to 5 pen-name author profiles with their own details
Having separate author profiles for different pen names would help when writing across multiple genres. Supporting up to 5 pen names per account would allow writers to keep the associated details distinct as they branch out into new genres.
Your catalog dashboard — rank, reviews and sales per book, with a suggested fix for each
Da equipeSee rank, reviews and sales for every book you have published in one place. Each book comes with one specific suggested fix — a weak blurb, a wrong category, a missing keyword. You spend your time on the book that actually needs it.
Set target word count ranges for individual chapters or sections
Allowing authors to specify word count ranges for chapters or sections helps control pacing, estimate effort and costs, and meet editorial standards. Setting target lengths during planning reduces revisions and ensures the content matches length guidelines.
Generate AI character portraits for character pages and promotional material
Character portrait cards help with marketing and can be used as a book cover maker when added to a character page. Having a tool to generate them would help show off characters and their stories.
Option to exclude the book cover image when exporting to DOCX
When exporting a manuscript to DOCX format, the cover image is automatically included. External editing tools like AutoCrit can run into errors importing documents containing images, requiring manual deletion of the image before import. Adding an option or checkbox to exclude the cover image during DOCX export would streamline this workflow.
Allow reviewing and analyzing consistency of the draft before the novel is finished
Checking consistency while writing currently requires copying each chapter into an external document, because the application does not allow any export before the book is complete. Being able to discuss and analyze the content produced so far would allow revising and correcting issues without waiting for the end of the manuscript.
Group books into a series so characters and locations are shared across them
Allow creating a named series and adding books to it once. Currently, creating a new book in a series requires re-importing every previous book or selecting them individually from the full library, then manually re-editing characters and locations, which risks inconsistencies across the series.
Allow custom voice uploads (real or synthetic) for audiobook generation
Allowing authors to upload real or synthetic voice samples would help maintain personal authenticity across audiobooks. It would also enable multi-character voice recordings for fiction, allow quick audiobook updates after manuscript edits, and let an author's distinct voice narrate books in multiple foreign languages.
Add non-email two-factor authentication (2FA) for accounts
It is essential to have strong security features to protect accounts and information. The platform should offer two-factor authentication (2FA) that does not rely on email as an option for all accounts.
Generate 3D book mockups automatically from the cover design
Convert existing novels into scripts with a dedicated screenwriting tool
Convert written books into flipbook videos for video platforms
Convert children's books, teen books, adult books, and e-books into flipbook-style videos that can be uploaded and watched on YouTube and social media.
Allow manual editing directly inside the Book Editor
I would like to make manual text edits directly in the Book Editor without having to select the text and invoke the AI each time.
Ad creative built to each platform's exact specs — BookBub, Amazon and Meta, in variants you can test
Da equipeEvery image comes out at the size and under the rules the platform actually enforces: BookBub's 300x250 static frame with your cover filling about half of it, Amazon Sponsored Brands headlines inside the 50-character limit with no price or savings claims, Sponsored Products inside 150, and Meta sets in both 1:1 and 4:5. Get any of that wrong and the ad is rejected, or it runs and quietly wastes the spend. You get several variants per book, so you can test which one earns the click instead of running one image and hoping.
Auto-generate chapter images without entering a prompt manually
Add an optional button to automatically generate an image for a chapter so there is no need to write a prompt manually.
Place the editor right before the publishing stage in Book Flow
Moving the editor to the step directly before the publishing section within Book Flow would make the entire writing and publishing process much more streamlined.
Position images inline with text wrapping, image captions, and a reusable image library
Uploaded or generated images currently get placed at the end of the chapter with left, right, or center alignment. They should instead be insertable directly at the cursor with text wrapping around them, which would make direct exports usable without needing to edit the document in Word first. Support for image captions is also needed, which is important for non-fiction books and for adding required labels to AI-generated images. Finally, a central image library would allow an image created in one project to be reused in another book.
Go directly from creating a new book to the editor with sentence-by-sentence AI assistance
Use book context and details automatically in authoring tools like cover generators
Allow visual resources and authoring tools to use the active book's context directly—such as pulling in its title, author, and text elements automatically—instead of requiring us to re-enter details manually.
Allow custom OpenAI-compatible API keys for bring-your-own-key (BYOK)
Add an option to use a custom OpenAI-compatible API key as a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) provider.
Add a dark theme option to the interface
Please add an option to switch the application interface to a dark theme.
Prevent draft book ideas from showing up across different user accounts
Ideas generated on a free account are appearing under previously created ideas on a separate paid account linked to a different email. Book planning and brainstormed ideas should remain private to each individual user account.
Add a dark mode option to reduce eye strain and save battery
Include a dark mode because it is easier on the eyes, and many creators and writers prefer high-contrast colors and less visual strain. Additionally, when using a tablet or laptop, dark mode helps reduce battery consumption.
Delete uploaded files and organize them into folders in the editor
Add the ability to delete uploaded files inside the editor when they become redundant, and add folder support to better organize uploaded files.
Add an AI chat tab that can search uploaded notes and previous chapters
It would be helpful to chat directly with the AI about uploaded reference material and past chapters. When writing a long series, it is easy to forget earlier details or notes, so having a dedicated chat tab to query uploaded resources or ask for feedback on a specific chapter would save time.
Built-in audiobook recording setup with a teleprompter and basic audio editing
A built-in recording setup with a scrolling teleprompter would help authors record their own audiobooks directly in the app. Basic editing tools to stop, start, clip out mistakes, and balance audio levels across sessions would make it easy to get started, with the option to expand capability via Web Audio plugins.
Add a customizable manga and comic studio canvas for panel layouts and typesetting
Allow more control over manga and comic layouts, including typesetting and font formatting. A blank canvas where creators can visually customize their layout, choose the number of panels, and arrange them—similar to how Anifusion works—would give much more flexibility.
Allow integrating a Vocallab.ai API key as an alternative to ElevenLabs
Vocallab.ai is a more affordable alternative to ElevenLabs. I would like to be able to connect my own Vocallab API key directly to the app for audio generation.
Add voice-to-text buttons to text input fields
Adding voice-to-text input directly to text boxes would make it easier to capture details while ideas are fresh.
Add an in-editor search tool to find specific passages within a chapter
Add a search magnifying glass or find feature directly on the chapter editing page so writers can quickly locate a specific passage in their text.
Export technical books formatted in LaTeX using the book document class
Many technical books include mathematical equations. Providing an option to export books in LaTeX, at least using the standard book document class, would make typesetting and formatting those equations much easier.
Display creation date for each book and add deletion confirmation
On the My Books page, show the date each book was created, and add a checkmark or confirmation step to prevent accidentally deleting a book.
Allow Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) for OpenRouter to access more AI models
OpenRouter allows users to choose from many AI models, including major provider models. Supporting OpenRouter via BYOK would let users select from those models.
Audiobook tool — turn a book already on the platform into a finished audiobook in one voice
Da equipePick a book you have already written here and get a full narrated audiobook back, chapter by chapter, in a single voice that holds from the first page to the last. No splitting the manuscript up, recording piece by piece, or stitching files together afterwards. What you download is ready to upload to the audiobook stores.
Add support for translating books into Catalan
In my region, both Spanish and Catalan are spoken, so it would be helpful to have Catalan support for translations.
Allow Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) for cheaper AI usage
Support using a personal API key (Bring Your Own Key) as a cheaper alternative for AI generation.
Full support chat with history, plus a searchable FAQ
Da equipeSupport conversations keep their history, so you can pick a thread back up days later. Common answers are searchable, so most questions are solved without waiting.
Start a book by just describing it — type or speak one paragraph
Da equipeSay or write a sentence or two about the book you want and the setup fills itself in. No forms to work through before you see a draft.
Character names that stop repeating across your books
Da equipeNew books stop reaching for the same handful of names. Every story gets its own cast that fits its setting.
Covers that actually portray the characters you named
Da equipeCover art now draws on the characters and details in your book instead of a generic stock scene. What you described in the story is what shows up on the cover.
EPUB that passes Apple Books submission
Da equipeThe EPUB you download validates cleanly for Apple Books and the other stores. Upload the file as it comes out instead of rebuilding it.
Explicit content available on every paid plan
Da equipeExplicit scenes are no longer restricted to the higher plans — every paid plan can write them, including a one-time credit purchase. Books you already started keep the setting you chose.
Check whether your writing reads as AI — and rewrite it so it doesn't
Da equipeSee which passages read as machine-written before a reader or a publisher does. One click rewrites them in a natural human voice.
Change plans without losing paid time — downgrades apply at renewal
Da equipeSwitch plans whenever you want and keep the time you already paid for. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal instead of cutting you off on the spot.
Listings for international markets — blurbs, keywords and categories per Amazon marketplace
Da equipeBlurbs, keywords and categories are now written per Amazon marketplace instead of one English listing copied everywhere. Each one follows how readers actually search in that language, so you sell in more storefronts without hiring a translator per market.
Use your own API keys for Gemini, Claude, Grok and ElevenLabs
Da equipeConnect your own provider keys and generate against your own account. Useful when you already pay a provider directly or need volume beyond your plan.
Print PDF that Amazon accepts — page numbers and KDP-safe margins
Da equipeExport a print interior that clears KDP checks the first time, with page numbers and safe inner margins already set. No repairing the file in a word processor.
Right-to-left export for Arabic and Hebrew
Da equipeBooks in Arabic and Hebrew export with proper right-to-left text direction and page order. Both the print PDF and the EPUB read the right way round.
Better chapters — Claude Sonnet 5, Grok 4.5 and Gemini 3.6 now write your book
Da equipeYour chapters are written by the newest frontier models, so the prose holds up across a full-length book. You choose which model writes each one.
Reorder your storyboard pages by dragging
Da equipeDrag pages into the order you want instead of rebuilding the sequence. Illustrations and text move with the page.
Book Editor — upload your finished manuscript, get chapter-by-chapter edits you accept or reject, download the edited file
Da equipeBring a manuscript you already wrote and get concrete edits chapter by chapter. Accept the ones that help, reject the rest, then download the edited file.
Reader magnets and newsletters — turn your book into a lead magnet and an email sequence
Da equipeA finished book now turns into a free sample readers trade their email for, plus the follow-up emails that go out after they read it. The copy comes from your book rather than a template, so your mailing list grows while you write the next one.
Paste from Word or Google Docs without losing your paragraphs
Da equipePasting from a word processor keeps your paragraphs, headings and emphasis. No re-splitting a wall of text by hand afterwards.
Series bible — characters, places and timeline remembered across every book in your series
Da equipeCharacters, places and timeline now carry between the books in a series, so book three still knows what happened in book one. Names, descriptions and relationships stay consistent without you re-explaining them, and you can open the bible and correct it whenever the story moves on.
Illustrated books — children's books, coloring books and comics with the same characters and art style on every page
Da equipeMake picture books, coloring books and comics where your characters still look like themselves on page forty. You pick the art style once and every illustration follows it.
Translate your whole book into another language in one action
Da equipeTurn a finished book into another language without working through it chapter by chapter. Titles, structure and formatting come across with the text.
Book launch kit — blurb, keywords, categories, A+ content, ad copy and launch emails generated from your manuscript
Da equipeYour finished manuscript now produces the whole storefront package: blurb, keywords, categories, A+ content blocks, ad copy and a short launch email sequence. All of it is written from your actual book rather than a template, so you edit what you want and copy the rest straight across.
Reset your password with a 6-digit code instead of an email link
Da equipeGet back into your account with a short code sent to your email. Nothing to click, and it works even when your mail client rewrites links.
Import the book you already wrote — Word files with your images, bold and citation sources intact
Da equipeUpload a Word document and keep your images, emphasis and citation sources instead of pasting flat text. The book lands ready to edit, translate or export.
Publish to your own author page and reach NanoReads readers, with reader email capture
Da equipePut your finished book on your own author page and in front of NanoReads readers. Readers can leave their email, so you build a mailing list while people read.
Como este quadro funciona
Escritores sugerem, escritores classificam
