Before you upload
Which files work?
Word .docx. If your draft is a Google Doc, Pages file, PDF, RTF or plain text, save or export it as .docx first. The upload screen shows the exact steps for your format.
Will it rewrite my text?
No. Import reads the structure of your document and keeps your prose as written. Headings, bold, italic, tables, footnotes and images come along.
Who owns my book?
You do. You keep full ownership and commercial rights to your content, and we do not use your books to train AI models.
Who can see my manuscript?
Your original Word file is stored in a private folder that only your account can access. Your books are not shared with other users.
